Terms of Use
In force from 8 September 2026.
These terms govern your use of Earli Hire. By creating an account you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to be got past.

1. What this service is
A tool for people looking for work. It collects job postings from employers' own careers systems, scores them against a profile you build, and helps you draft a CV and cover letter for a specific role.
What it is not, stated first because these are the misunderstandings that matter:
- It is not a recruiter or an employment agency. We have no relationship with the employers whose postings appear here, no arrangement with them, and no influence over their hiring. We take no fee from any employer, we transmit no application, and we hold no mandate from either side.
- It does not apply for you. Every application is submitted by you, on the employer's own site. We have no mechanism to send anything to an employer, by design.
- It does not make decisions about you. Match scores rank and annotate what you see; nothing is hidden from you on the basis of a score.
2. Your account
- One account per person, identified by an email address you control.
- Sign-in is by a six-digit code sent to that address. There is no password.
- You are responsible for the security of the mailbox that receives those codes. Anyone who can read your email can sign in as you.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
3. What you put in
You keep everything you write here. You grant us only what is needed to run the service for you: storing your profile, scoring jobs against it, and — if you turn that permission on — sending the relevant parts of it for AI drafting, with your contact details removed first, as described in the privacy policy.
We do not use your CV to train models, we do not sell it, and we do not show it to employers.
You are responsible for what you claim. The service will not invent experience for you — generated text is checked against what your profile actually says and claims that do not trace back to it are rejected. But it cannot tell whether what you entered is true, and a document you send goes out under your name, not ours.
4. Generated documents
Every generated document is a draft.
- You must read it before you use it. The service marks drafts that failed its own quality check, but passing that check is not a judgement that the document is accurate, appropriate or good.
- Generation uses a third-party AI provider and can be slow, refuse, or produce something poor. The service shows you when this happens.
- Where a draft is generated but flagged, it is still shown to you — hiding it would be deciding on your behalf.
- We do not warrant that a generated document will get you an interview, a job, or a reply.
A document you send is yours. You choose whether to use a draft, you may edit it freely, and you submit it yourself to an employer we have no connection with. We are not responsible for the consequences of a document you chose to send, including where it contains something you did not check.
5. Job postings
Postings are collected from employers' own careers systems — their public APIs and the structured data they publish for machine consumption. We do not use third-party job boards. We do not control postings and we do not verify them.
- A posting may be filled, withdrawn or out of date by the time you see it. We remove postings we detect as gone, but detection is not instantaneous.
- Details — salary, location, requirements — are the employer's, reproduced as published. Errors in them are not ours to correct.
- Applying takes you to the employer's own site, under their terms and their privacy policy, not ours.
6. Acceptable use
Do not:
- Create accounts for other people, or use somebody else's employment history.
- Automate access to the service, or attempt to extract the job index in bulk.
- Attempt to access another user's data.
- Use generated documents to misrepresent your experience.
If we believe an account is doing these things we may suspend it. Except where the conduct is serious or ongoing, we will tell you why and give you 14 days to respond before closing it. You may contest a suspension by writing to the contact address above, and we will answer within one month. Your data remains available to export throughout a suspension, and is deleted 30 days after an account is closed.
7. Availability
This is a soft launch. Expect interruptions, and expect features to change or be removed. Specifically, and honestly:
- Document generation depends on a third-party provider and may be unavailable for periods.
- The job index covers a small number of employers and is growing.
- We do not offer a service level, a support commitment or a response time.
Keep your own copy of anything that matters. You can export everything at any time from your profile.
8. Ending it
- You can delete your account at any time from your profile. It is irreversible.
- We may close the service, or your account, on 30 days' notice by email, except where we must act sooner for legal or security reasons. During that period you can export everything from your profile.
- On deletion, your profile, documents and uploaded files are removed. Records we must keep — consent history, and the log of operator access to your data — are retained as described in the privacy policy.
9. Liability
The service is provided free of charge, as-is, during this soft launch.
- We are liable without limit for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
- We are otherwise not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost employment opportunities, or for loss arising from a job posting being inaccurate, out of date or withdrawn — postings are the employer's, reproduced and not verified.
- We are not liable for the content of a draft you chose to send, for the reasons set out in §4.
- Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law where you live.
10. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law, and the courts of Zurich have jurisdiction.
If you use the service as a consumer resident in the EEA, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
11. Changes
We may change these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will tell you by email at least 14 days before it takes effect, and you may close your account instead of accepting it.
