INTERN (M/F/D) PRODUCT INNOVATION AND QUALITY CONTROL

FenX is a spin-off from ETH Zurich. We tackle the world’s energy and greenhouse gas challenge by bringing technology and innovation to the building insulation market. Our first impact product is a high-performance building insulation panel incorporating mineral waste materials. It is cost effective, fully recyclable and has a low CO2 footprint. At FenX every day offers a new opportunity to shape the future. To support our Technical Team, we are looking for a talented and passionate intern with knowledge in materials.

* Co-development of porous minerals, production of prototypes, quality control. * Transfer of R&D formulations to the prototyping plant. * Material characterization and support on material certification. * Planning and improvement of prototype production processes. * Support on operating and maintaining the prototyping line. * Support of the technical team on other issues as required.

* Ideally BSc in ETH/FH **materials science**, **mechanical, civil engineering or related degrees** * Impact driven person with a passion for innovation * Hands-on attitude and technical understanding * Systematic problem-solving skills * Team-oriented and reliable * English and ideally German proficiency * Minimum internship duration 6 months * Swiss work permit
