Test Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Specialist to join our dynamic team in Bioggio, Switzerland. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software to the client. Your key tasks - Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex software applications - Proactively propose and adopt best practices and methodologies for test, including harnessing AI - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects - Analyse test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders - Conduct performance testing and identify areas for optimization - Work closely with project manager, development teams and other stakeholders to manage risks and issues - Design, update and execute functional and business test scenarios and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring their reusability - Support test environments issues to ensure testing can be completed on time (baseline definition and maintenance, assessment on environment readiness) - Document and evaluate the result of the testing, investigate testing deficiencies - Adhere closely to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts - Support and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage - Contribute to continuous improvement of Test Management processes and procedures Founded and headquartered in Switzerland, Avaloq is continuously expanding its global footprint with around 2,500 colleagues in 10 countries, and more than 160 clients in 35 countries.
