Team Leader Process Technology New AI (m/f/d)

To support this mission, Syngenta’s Hiring Team is seeking a Onsite, Team Leader Process Technology New AI (m/f/d) in Münchwilen, Schweiz. 

The role involves leading a team of 1-3 lab technicians in a chemistry lab while being responsible for developing and scaling-up chemical reactions towards manufacturing, including preparation and support of pilot campaigns. The position requires maintaining comprehensive process know-how for all assigned chemical steps. It also demands digital curiosity and confidence, working at the interface of chemistry, data and technology. Accountabilities: - Ensuring the required HSE standards and good laboratory practices are applied/respected. - Overseeing and defining the experimental program to deliver safe and sustainable chemical processes that are fit for the current development lifecycle stage under guidance of the project lead. - Designing lab experiments and pilot campaigns to generate process understanding and know-how - Maintaining documentation to capture lab results and project requirements as defined by guidance. - Supporting process know-how transfers in agreement with the project lead. - Ensuring close collaboration with project stakeholders. - Supporting the department in specialist roles. - Preparing inputs for cost estimates. - Proposing, supporting, and implementing improvement projects. - Ensuring efficient use of provided resources.
