ESG Digitalization Intern – Software & Data Engineering

Support the ESG Controlling Team in Zürich/Altstetten in its digitalization and automation journey, building and maintaining applications and data pipelines that drive automated, scalable ESG reporting.  Main Task  - Software Development: Design, build, and maintain web applications, covering both front-end and back-end development. Understand business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and contribute to the full software lifecycle from specification through deployment.  Secondary Task (Nice to have)  - CI/CD & Infrastructure: Support the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment (e.g. GitHub Actions, Terraform).  - Data Engineering & Analytics: Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows in Databricks to support ESG Reporting use cases, including data ingestion, transformation, and modelling.   Sika is a specialty chemicals company with a globally leading position in the development and production of systems and products for bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcing, and protection in the building sector and industrial manufacturing.
