Paralegal

Paralegal  Location: Basel, Switzerland.    Paralegal providing assistance to the lawyers in the legal department and other stakeholders on corporate governance related matters, drafting of resolutions and commercial register filings for all Swiss Lonza entities, and other routine corporate law matters in cooperation with legal counsel and general support to the lawyers in the legal team   What you will get:   - An agile career and dynamic working culture - An inclusive and ethical workplace - A variety of benefits tailored to your localality. - Access to global benefits via https://www.lonza.com/careers/benefits   What you will do:   - Preparation of commercial register filings for all Swiss Lonza entities and management of updates (entries, changes, deletions) - Support the execution of agreements and commercial documents using DocuSign and wet ink signatures. - Invoice processing, vendor creation and special payment requests - Collaborate with international law firms and notary offices on - Handle the preparation for LPR (Legal Proceedings report) 3x /year - Process legalizations, apostilles, and related matters. - Conduct legal research to support the legal team's activities.

- Solid grasp of legal principles and terms, with a reliable eye for checking documents and catching errors. - Ability to translate documents in English & German - Skilled at researching cases, managing large amounts of information efficiently, and working with modern office and legal software. - Able to prioritize daily tasks, stay organized under tight deadlines, and adapt working hours when urgent matters come up. - Completely trustworthy with sensitive and confidential information, supporting clients and colleagues with patience, empathy, and tact.  - An active team player who readily shares knowledge, supports colleagues, and welcomes feedback to keep learning and improving.
